Mr Sulaiman S. Mehdi appointed as new Chairman Pakistan Stock Exchange

Pakistan Stock Exchange has appointed Mr. Sulaiman S. Mehdi as the new Chairman of the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

Earlier, Mr. Hussain Lawai was removed as the Chairman after allegations regarding his involvement in a scandal pertaining to fake accounts in Summit bank.

Mr. Sulaiman had been serving as the CEO of Cyan Limited since August 2014, and before that worked as the COO and Company Secretary for the firm, and has over 13 years of experience working with leading financial services groups, in senior positions in the area of operations, investments, marketing, legal and corporate affairs.
