Mr. Miftah Ismail appointed as Advisor to PM on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs

President Mamnoon Hussain has appointed Mr. Miftah Ismail as an Advisor to the Prime Minister giving him additional portfolios strengthening his role in the financial decision making.

Mr. Miftah Ismail will be appointed as a Federal Minister with a portfolio of Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs.

After the said appointment, Mr. Ismail would cease to hold the office of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Economic Affairs.

Mr. Miftah Ismail, along with a team of Economists from the State Bank of Pakistan led the delegation that visited Europe and the Gulf Countries to raise funds against the Euro and Sukuk Issue last month.
