MARI proposes name change to "Mari Energies Limited"

November 28, 2024 (MLN): The management of Mari Petroleum Company Limited (PSX: MARI) has proposed changing the company’s name to "Mari Energies Limited."

This proposal will be presented to shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting scheduled for Thursday, December 19, 2024.

The name change is subject to the approval of the Registrar, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

Furthermore, the Memorandum of Association, the Articles of Association, and other statutory documents of the company are amended to substitute the name MARI wherever appearing with the new name “Mari Energies Limited”.

In light of this, the Managing Director and the Company Secretary of the company are authorized, either singly or jointly, to sign and execute all forms/documents and take all necessary steps for the change of name.
