Mari D&PL well hits gas flow

March 19, 2026 (MLN): Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI) achieves significant hydrocarbon discovery at Shams-1 exploratory well in Mari D&PL, District Ghotki, Sindh Province.

Spud in on January 30, 2026, Shams-1 reached a total depth of 3,075 meters targeting Lower Goru-B sands.

The well tested a flow rate of 47.98 MMSCFD of gas with 64 barrels per day of condensate at a choke size of 64/64".

Stabilized Well Head Flowing Pressure (WHFP) during testing was recorded at 2,404 psig.

This new discovery is expected to contribute approximately Rs 11.17 per share* annually to MARI earnings at 64/64″ choke size, respectively, according to Arif Habib limited.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
