December 16, 2024 (MLN): Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (PSX: LOTCHEM) The company’s management has decided to continue the suspension of plant operations until December 22, 2024.

To recall, on November 15, the company notified a temporary suspension of its plant operations from November 16 to December 15, 2024.

The shutdown is part of a planned effort to optimize inventory levels and conduct essential maintenance work.

Lotte Chemical's principal activity is the manufacturing and sale of Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA).
