LCI snaps up Pfizer’s manufacturing facility

September 09, 2024 (MLN): Marking a significant expansion in LCI's pharmaceutical footprint, Lucky Core Industries Limited (PSX: LCI) has acquired Pfizer Pakistan Limited's manufacturing facility under the Asset Purchase Agreements entered into between the parties.
Along with this, the company has also acquired the products and product registrations consisting of Ansaid, Ponstan, Ponstan Forte, Basoquin, Deltacortril, Lysovit, Corex-D and Mycitracin.
In addition to this trademarks associated with the said pharmaceutical products either through an outright assignment of trademarks or a perpetual license to use the relevant trademarks from relevant Pfizer group entities have also been acquired.
