Lahore High Court approves merger of PFL and FATIMA

July 07, 2023 (MLN): The Lahore High Court has sanctioned the approval of the merger/ amalgamation of Pakarab Fertilizers Limited (PFL) with and into Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited (PSX: FATIMA), as revealed in the company's latest filing on PSX.

This notice is with reference to their earlier communication dated December 5, 2022, and the joint petition/application filed by the applicant companies.

"We are pleased to inform you that the honorable Lahore High Court issued the certified copy of the order on July 6, 2023," the notice reads.

It further states that this strategic amalgamation will further solidify our position as a leading player in the fertilizer sector and also presents numerous opportunities for enhanced growth synergies, and operational efficiencies.
