KSE Closing Bell - Index Recovers Early Losses But Still Closes Negative

KSE 100 Index ended Tuesday's trading session at 32,983.47 down 25.66 points from previous close. The Index fell 495 points or 1.50 percent in early trade before recovering throughout the day touching an intraday high of 33,027.33 (+18.20) points. Total Volume improved to 142 million shares compared to 109 million from the previous session. Market Capitalization decreased by Rs.1.16 Billion. Out of the 326 traded scrips 126 closed up, 171 closed down while 29 remained unchanged.
