KSE 100 Index closed Tuesday's session at 33,958.12 down 378.35 points or 1.10% percent. Of the top 30 Traded companies only 7 advanced while none in the top ten were gainers. The index traded in a range of 413.49 points or 1.20% of previous close touching an intraday high of 34,359.05 (22.58) and a low of 33,945.46 (-391.01) points. Total Volume traded was 205m shares compared to 219m shares from the previous session. Of the 352 traded scrips 91 advanced 237 declined while 24 remained unchanged. Total Market Cap declined by Rs.84 Bn.
