KE’s consumers to face 3-hour load shedding

June 08, 2022 (MLN): The K-Electric, one of the major electric supply companies of Pakistan has announced three hours long load shedding in all areas of Karachi with immediate effect.

According to the official sources, the supply of electricity will be off for 1.5 hours in the morning and 1.5 hours in the evening. The load shedding exempted areas of Karachi will also have to face 3-hour load shedding.

The decision is the result of the increase in demand for electricity due to summers particularly heatwave in coastal areas.
