Jazz reports strong revenue growth in Q1 2024

May 19, 2024 (MLN): After eight consecutive quarters of negative USD revenue growth, Jazz, one of Pakistan's leading digital operator, has delivered an impressive turnaround, Aamir Hafeez Ibrahim, CEO Jazz said in a post on X.

In the first quarter of 2024, the company reported a stellar 19.2% increase in USD terms. That compares with a negative 9.8% sales growth in the previous quarter.

Moreover, in PKR terms, revenue grew 28.7% during Q1 2024.

"These are first signs of Pakistan's recovering economic climate," Aamir said.

He stressed that to maintain this growth, long-overdue regulatory and policy reforms are needed to unlock telecom sector's potential in accelerating the government's vision of digital transformation for socioeconomic growth.
