IT industry growth surpassing all traditional sectors: Amin

January 4, 2021: Minister for Information Technology and Telecom Syed Amin Ul Haque says the recent growth of Information Technology industry in the country is remarkable and surpassing all traditional sectors.

Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad today (Sunday), he said it is the right time for the traditional sectors to consider about the potential of IT exports business in Pakistan.

The minister said with overwhelming business response, Pakistan needs serious investments in branding, infrastructure and capacity building and other resource, not only from government but also from private sector.
