Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co. Limited intends to acquire 51 percent of Fauji Foods' voting shares

In a public announcement made earlier today, July 31st 2018, Citibank notified PSX that it has been appointed as Manager to the Public Offer by Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co. Limited (the Acquirer), to acquire up to 51% of voting shares of Fauji Foods Limited.
The Acquirer intends to acquire up to 51% through Agreements and up to 12.8% shares through Public Offer.
It is further expected that a Public Announcement of Intention will be published on August 2nd 2018.
