SCRA balance falls Rs115m to Rs38bn in week ended Oct 23

October 29, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs114.76m during the week ending Oct 23, 2026 to close at Rs38.34bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs1.26bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs27.48bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs13.35bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs13.98bn while dividend received was Rs144.17m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs27.59bn.

Outward remittances were Rs14.86bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs12.72bn and total tax paid was Rs8.75m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-15.58bn, Rs1.24bn and Rs1.44bn to close at Rs520.11bn, Rs102.64bn and Rs70.48bn.
