Imdadullah Bosal takes charge as Finance Secretary

May 18, 2023 (MLN): In a significant administrative reshuffle, the federal government has transferred Mr. Imdadullah Bosal from the position of Special Secretary, Finance Division to Secretary, Finance Division, with immediate effect, the notification issued by the Finance Division revealed on Thursday.

He is a BS-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service and is presently posted as Special Secretary of the Finance Division.

Earlier today, Hamid Yakoob Sheikh, the former Secretary of Finance has been officially de-notified and removed from his position.

The exact reasons for his removal have not been disclosed at this time.

He was appointed as Secretary of Finance on December 3, 2021.
