IGIL registers as a Pension Fund Manager

August 01, 2023 (MLN): IGI Life Insurance Limited (PSX: IGIL) unveiled that the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has registered the company as a Pension Fund Manager under the Voluntary Pension System Rules, 2005 vide certificate of registration dated July 27, 2023.

As per the company’s filing on the local bourse, the date of the earliest event reported if applicable is August 01, 2023.

Presently, IGIL is engaged in life insurance, carrying on both participating and non-participating businesses.

The company is also engaged in providing Shariah Compliant family takaful products as an approved window takaful operator. The Company is a subsidiary of IGI Holdings Limited.
