Hubco announces Rs6.5 dividend per share

January 18, 2022 (MLN): The board of directors of the Hub Power Company Limited, in its meeting held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, has approved an interim cash dividend for the year ending June 30, 2022, at Rs.6.50 per share, that is, 65%, the company’s filing on PSX showed today.

On the financial front, the company had earned Rs7.42bn during the quarter ended September 30, 2021, when compared to a net profit of Rs3.26bn, mainly due to higher return on equity as per tariff profile, lower administrative and finance costs.
