Honda Atlas revises up vehicle prices following amendment in Finance Bill 2019

March 13, 2019 (MLN):  Following the second amendment of Finance Supplementary Bill 2019, Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited has revised up the prices of two of its motor vehicles effective from March 11, 2019.

According to a notification issued by the company, with the recent announcement by government of Pakistan to implement Federal Excise Duty (FED) at 10% on locally manufactured cars, SUV’s and other motor vehicles, and to pass on a part of FOREX impact, the prices of models 1.8L VTI CVT and 1.8L VT SR CVT have been pushed up by Rs.325,000 and Rs.340,000 respectively.

This revision brings the new prices of these models at Rs.3.134 million from Rs.2.809 million for 1.8L VTI CVT and at Rs.3.299 million from Rs.2.959 million for 1.8L VT SR CVT.

The notification further adds that the new prices are applicable on new bookings and back orders with partial/Full payments.

Moreover, consignment cars will be invoiced on New Price and invoicing should be within March 2019. Apart from this, prices for optional features will remain unchanged.
