HEJ Center, Food Ministry sign agreement to boost agricultural yield

January 07, 2025 (MLN): The agreement aimed at ensuring seed quality and enhancing agricultural yield has been signed between the HEJ International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, University of Karachi, and the Ministry of National Food Security and Research.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Rana Tanveer Hussain, the Minister for National Food Security and Research, according to the press release.

As part of the agreement, HEJ will offer commercial testing services for pesticide ingredients and related analyses.

Speaking on the occasion, Rana Tanveer Hussain stressed the importance of conducting research on seed quality and standards to reduce the production of substandard seeds.
