Govt releases Rs.50.4 billion in two months for development

August 27, 2019 (MLN): The government of Pakistan has released Rs.50.4 billion in the last two months for growth and development of the country.

Of the total, around Rs.26.8 billion was released under security spending, the target for which was set at Rs.32.6 billion for ongoing fiscal year, by Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).

Under the same programme, the government has also released Rs.4.6 billion for AJK, Rs.2.6 billion for Gilgit Baltistan and Rs.4.2 billion for Atomic Energy.

Current fiscal year’s target PSDP stands fixed at Rs.701 billion.
