Govt committed to ease of doing business for foreign investors: Prime Minister

September 3, 2019: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that government is committed to ease of doing business for foreign investors, and streamlining the existing regulatory framework for investment to avoid wastage of time and resources for the prospective investors.  

He said this during a meeting with a delegation of prominent Chinese investors hailing from around one hundred Chinese companies led by Javed Afridi in Lahore.

The Prime Minister reiterated that the Government will make it easier for Chinese companies to capitalize huge investment potential of Pakistan.

He said China is our close ally and friend, and it has always been there to support us.

The investors expressed their deep interest in different sectors of economy, including investment in the industrial projects, especially in Gujrat, Gujranwala and Sialkot.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar held a one-on-one meeting and discussed the progress of socio-economic projects in Punjab province.
