Government to set up Power Park Management: ECC

November 27, 2018 (MLN): A meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee took place today, with the Minister for Finance Asad Umar heading the affair.

During the meeting, government was given directives to issue Islamic Bonds to reduce circular debt.

Moreover, the committee also decided that government should import Liquefied Natural Gas to cut gas deficit in winter season.

The meeting discussed the matter pertaining to gas load shedding and agreed that no gas load shedding would be observed in winter season.

Furthermore, the committee approved setting up of Power Park Management by the government.
