Government reduces energy tariff to bring ease of doing business: Razak Dawood

November 04, 2020 (MLN): Government has reduced energy tariffs for the industry in order to reduce their cost of doing business.

The aforesaid announcement was made by Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood on his official Twitter handle. He said, 'it was a long-standing demand of industry that energy tariffs be made competitive in order to reduce their cost of doing business. This demand has now been met.'

‘Exporters, large & SMEs, please utilize the benefits of reduced energy costs and go full speed ahead to translate this into greater exports for the country. The MOC is always at your service in case you face any hurdles’, he concluded.
