Gold soars to Rs120,200 per tola

November 4, 2021 (MLN): The yellow metal witnessed a turnaround in its demand today as the price of 24-karat gold in the domestic bullion jumped by Rs2,800 to close at Rs120,200 per tola.
According to data provided by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also surged by Rs2,400 and was traded at Rs103,052 while the 10gm 22k gold was valued at Rs94,464.
On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs1,420 and Rs1,217.42 respectively.
In the international market, the demand for gold scratched by $5 to $1,779 an ounce as nonfarm payrolls data to be announced on Friday is in focus, while silver was traded at $23.73 per ounce.
