Gold price increases by Rs 1,300 on Monday

January 4, 2021 (MLN): Safe-haven asset extended gains on Monday in the domestic bullion market. The price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 1,300 to Rs 115,600 against the price of Rs 114,300 per tola reported in the previous session.
According to the data compiled by the All Sindh Saraf and Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs 1,114 to stand at Rs 99,108 against the price of Rs. 97,994 reported in the previous session.
On the other hand, the price of silver tola and 10-gram silver tola increased by Rs 80 and Rs 68.59 to Rs 1,400 and Rs 1,200.27, respectively.
In the international market, the gold rate moved up by $34 to $1,933 an ounce, while the price of silver stood at $27.30 an ounce.
