Gold price in Pakistan hits all-time high

September 11, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan reached a new all-time high on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs264,000 per tola.

On a daily basis, the price of this key benchmark surged by Rs2,300 to set a new peak.

The Karachi Sarafa Association reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs226,337 per 10-gram, up Rs1,972.

Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was quoted higher at Rs207,476 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs2,900 per tola (-Rs0) and Rs2,486 per 10-gram (-Rs0).

On the global front, spot gold traded near $2,522 an ounce, up $3.2 or 0.13% from the previous session.
