Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs700 per tola

May 30, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs348,600 per tola, down Rs700.
Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs298,868 after a decline of Rs600, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs273,972 per 10-gram.
On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,480 per tola and Rs2,983 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,289 an ounce, down $25.6 or 0.77% from the previous session.
Gold prices slipped on Friday as the dollar edged higher and markets digested the latest tariff developments, while a softer inflation report kept hopes for a U.S. rate cut alive.
