KP riders get Rs2,000 fuel relief via Dastak app

April 6, 2026 (MLN): The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has unveiled the “Ehsaas Fuel Support Program”, aimed at providing financial assistance to registered motorcycle and scooter owners across the province.

The initiative came as a response to rising fuel prices, offering relief particularly to low-income riders.

Under the program, eligible beneficiaries will receive a monthly fuel subsidy of Rs2,000, helping ease daily commuting costs.

Emphasized that only vehicles registered in the applicant’s name with a fully completed ownership transfer process will qualify for the support.

Motorcycles or scooters that are unregistered or registered in another person’s name will not be eligible.

Applicants can register via the “Dastak App”, available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

After creating an account, users must submit their personal information along with complete vehicle details.

Required documents include a copy of CNIC, vehicle registration book or smart card, a clear photograph of the vehicle, and verification from both buyer and seller if ownership has recently changed.

The verification process will be conducted through e-Sahulat, followed by a detailed review from the Excise and Taxation Office (ETO). Applicants will be notified once their application has been approved or rejected.

The registration window for the Ehsaas Fuel Support Program officially opens on April 6, 2026, allowing motorcycle and scooter owners across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to apply for the monthly subsidy.
