Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs3,400 per tola

April 30, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs345,800 per tola, down Rs3,400.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs296,467 after a decline of Rs2,915, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs271,771 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,427 per tola (-Rs70) and Rs2,938 per 10-gram (-Rs60).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,280 an ounce, down $36.7 or 1.11% from the previous session.

Gold prices fell for the second straight session on Wednesday, hurt by a stronger dollar and signs of de-escalation in U.S.-Chinese trade tensions as investors looked forward to U.S. economic data due this week.
