Gold price closes flat on Monday

February 8, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices in the domestic bullion market closed flat on Monday, as the price of 24 karat and 10-gram of gold remained stagnant at Rs 111,800 per tola and Rs 95,850 respectively.

On a similar note, the price of silver also remained static as 24-Karat silver and 10-gram of silver were available at Rs 1,390 per tola and Rs 1,191.7 respectively.

On the other hand, in the international market, yellow metal prices edged higher amid the rising dollar index and higher US yield. Gold prices strengthened by USD 9 and traded at USD 1,823 per ounce, while silver was valued at 27.24 an ounce.
