Gold moves up by Rs500 per tola

September 9, 2021 (MLN): The demand for yellow metal witnessed a decent surge today as the price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs500 to close at Rs112,000, as per the data reported by Karachi Sarafa Association.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram 24 karat gold moved up Rs429 to stand at Rs96,022 while 10-gm 22 karat gold traded at Rs88,020.
However, the price of per tola and 10-gram silver remained stable at Rs1,430 and Rs1,226 respectively.
The investors’ interest remained subdued in the safe-haven gold since their focus has tilted towards the European Central Bank’s meeting.The decisions may affect its emergency economic support. Gold saw a decline of by $5 to trade at $1,795 per ounce while, silver was valued at $24.12 an ounce.
