October 23, 2024 (MLN): Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized the deep-rooted ties and multifaceted cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye during discussions with Mr Mehmet Simsek, Türkiye’s Treasury and Finance Minister, according to the press statement issued by the Finance Division.

He underscored the significant potential to enhance the current volume of bilateral trade.

Recalling the historical and fraternal bonds shared by the two nations, Aurangzeb expressed the belief that Pakistan could learn from Türkiye’s experience in power sector reforms.

He also invited Turkish firms to explore opportunities for mutually beneficial joint ventures (JVs) with their Pakistani counterparts, aiming to strengthen economic collaboration and share best practices.

The discussions underscored both governments' commitment to deepening economic ties and exploring avenues for growth, paving the way for a robust partnership across various sectors.
