FM directs banks to provide loans at least possible interest rates under KJP

May 31, 2021: Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin was chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Friday through video link on the expansion of Kamyab Jawan Programme.

Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin has directed all banks and other stakeholders to prepare a design to provide loans at zero or least possible interest rates for tier-1 entrepreneurship under Kamyab Jawan Program.

He was chairing a meeting in Islamabad today on Friday through video link on the expansion of Kamyab Jawan Programme.

Prime Minister's Special Assistant on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar and the Presidents of National Bank, Habib Bank and Bank of Punjab also attended the meeting.

The Finance Minister also invited Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing Authority along with others to share their views on the expansion of the Project so that more and more people specially youth could become a part of the government's financial inclusion program.

The participating banks and other stakeholders shared their views and experiences and agreed with the general idea of maximizing the use of financial resources by micro-credit users.
