Fertilizer offtake drops by 34.2%, YoY in November

December 24, 2018 (MLN): Total nutrient offtake during November 2018 was about 429 thousand tonnes which decreased by 34.2 per cent against November 2017.

As per the data provided by National Fertilizer Development Centre (NFDC), out of these 429 thousand tonnes sold, the largest share of sales were made for nitrogen (291 thousand tonnes) while the least amount of sales were made for potash (4000 tonnes).

Nitrogen offtake decreased by 26.6 per cent and phosphate Offtake by 46.1 per cent. Meanwhile, potash offtake decreased by 37.3 per cent over November 2017.
