Federal Government worries of Karachi issues, wants peace to restore in City

The Federal Government has been worried about the security situation in Karachi and wanted that Rangers to stay in the city to restore peace, said Mohammad Zubair, governor Sindh while talking to members of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce.
In the last 20 years Karachi has passed through troubled times, which affected the whole of the country, Zubair said. Army and rangers have helped restored peace and improved security situation in the city, and federal government wanted rather there has been need of rangers to stay in the city.
The provinces are facing resources problems to due to delay in announcing new NFC awards. However, the federal government main thrust has been to improve security situation in Karachi, an utomost important. Operation in Karachi brought peace in the city was the one of the bold measures of the Nawaz Sharif Prime Minister to bring peace and tranquility.
“We are standing with the business community and would take measures to resolve the issues pertain to the business men”, he said.
Shamim Firpo, president of Karachi Chamber of Commerce said we have planned not to submit budget proposal for next fiscal year, as the federal government paid no heed to measures proposed. The government instead of giving 90 days extension to rangers, they should extend their stay for one year.
