September 21, 2022 (MLN): Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL) announced results for FY22, wherein the company’s profit was up by 51.19%, the company’s stock filing s on the stock exchange showed.
In the filing, the company posted a profit after taxation (PAT) of Rs7.11 billion up 51.19% against the Rs3.47 bn in FY21, translating into earnings per share of Rs3.26 against Rs 2.52 in FY21.
The top line of the FCCL jumped to 55.25%, to Rs54.24 bn against Rs24.27 bn in FY21. Gross profit is up by 57.88%, to Rs14.40 bn against Rs6.06 bn in FY21.
In FY22, profit before taxation is up by 55.69% to Rs11.53 bn against Rs5.11 bn in FY21.
Alongside financial results, the company announced bonus shares of 12.5 for every 11 shares held which is 12.5%.
