FBR collects Rs 24 billion from Gujranwala Division during Fiscal Year 2018

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collected tax revenue of Rs 23.94 billion from the Gujranwala Division during the fiscal year 2017-18 here. According to the senior FBR officials, the FBR collected Rs12.84 billion as income tax, Rs11.9 billion as sales tax, besides collecting Rs10.5 billion as withholding tax.
The officials added that the FBR also collected revenue of Rs1.66 billion under the Tax Amnesty Scheme in the region.
