EPCL, SSGC extend gas supply agreement till mid-October

September 27, 2023 (MLN): Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited (PSX: EPCL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (PSX: SSGC) have agreed to extend the term for the supply of gas up till October 15, 2023, the latest company's filing on the PSX showed today.

This is in reference to the earlier notice on August 01, 2023, when the company entered into Supplemental Agreement with SSGC.

This gas will be used for EPCL`s captive power generation plant located at Port Qasim Industrial Zone on Plot no. EZ/1P-II-I, Karachi on an “as and when” available basis.

Moreover, this will ensure that the operations of EPCL are not hindered.
