EPCL restarts operations after successful maintenance

October 01, 2024 (MLN): The units of Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited (PSX: EPCL) plant that were undergoing maintenance successfully resumed operations on the evening of September 30, 2024, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

On August 28, 2024, EPCL began maintenance on certain units of its plant.

The company’s principal activity is to manufacture, market and sell Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC), Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM), Caustic soda and other related chemicals.

EPCL is also engaged in the supply of surplus power generated from its power plants to Engro Fertilizers Limited.

At the time of writing, the scrip of the company is being traded at Rs33.5, up by 10 paisa DoD.
