EnVen plant resumes commercial operation: EFERT

December 07, 2022 (MLN): Engro Fertilizers Limited (EFERT) resumed its commercial operations from EnVen plant on December 06, 2022, the company’s stock filings on the stock exchange showed.

To recall, the EnVen plant tripped on November 23, 2022, and was temporarily shut down; in order to determine the root cause, the company was conducting analysis and undertook appropriate work to resume operations as soon as possible.

In another notice to PSX on November 29, 2022, the company stated, “On the basis of root cause analysis, the EnVen Plant is expected to resume its operations from December 06, 2022.

To note, the same plant also faced an unscheduled breakdown in July 2022 which resulted in an estimated production loss of around 111KT.

At the time of writing, the scrip of the company is being traded at Rs81.20, which is down by 01 paisa or 0.01% DoD.
