Engro Fertilizers temporarily shuts base plant for urgent repairs

August 06, 2024 (MLN): The Base plant of Engro Fertilizers Limited (PSX: EFERT) has been shut down for unscheduled maintenance, as informed by the company through a notice on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.

The tentative duration of this forced outage will be around 5 days, as per the company.

Moreover, EFERT has commenced necessary maintenance activities after which the Base Plant is expected to resume operation by August 10, 2024.

At the time of writing, EFERT's scrip is enjoying the bullish start of the local bourse, up by 18 paisa or 0.18% compared to yesterday's close.
