Engro Corporation to invest Rs. 3.34 billion in EPCL

In a notice filed on the bourse, Engro Corporation Limited has today approved an investment worth Rupees 3.034 billion by subscribing to ordinary shares of EPCL during the EPCL Right Issue Process at a maximum price of Rs. 30 per share.
The company also notified that given that the some shares remain unsubscribed in the EPCL Right Issue, Engro Corp is authorized to invest in addition ordinary shares which remain unsubscribed, provided that the aggregate amount does not exceed Rs. 1.812 billion.
