GIS trading to resume June 1 with higher rental rates

May 29, 2026 (MLN): Trading in GoP Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) instruments, suspended since May 20, 2026, will resume on Monday, June 1, 2026, as May 30 and 31 fall on the weekend.

The 5-Year Variable Rental Rate GIS (P05VRR300530), maturing May 30, 2030, carries a revised net profit rate of 11.8603%, up from the previous 10.4600%, according to the PSX notice.

The 10-Year Variable Rental Rate GIS (P10VRR300535), maturing May 30, 2035, moves to 12.0603% from 10.6600%. Both rates are based on the latest 6-month weighted average yield of 12.4003% as of May 20, 2026, adjusted by their respective spreads from the May 29, 2025 auction.

The revised rates apply from May 30, 2026, through November 30, 2026. Trading in 3 and 5-Year Fixed Rental Rate GIS instruments will also resume alongside the VRR securities.
