Domestic bullion: Gold down, silver flat on Friday

May 27, 2023 (MLN): Domestic bullion fell on Friday, with 24-karat gold reaching Rs235,750 per tola, marking a decline of Rs250.

According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold reached Rs202,118 per tola, shrinking by Rs214.

While 10-gram 22-karat gold stood at Rs185,274, down by Rs197.

On the other hand, the price of silver still remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver closing at Rs2,900 per tola, and the price of 10-gram 24-karat silver reaching Rs2,486 per tola.

Meanwhile, international spot gold closed the week falling by 1.58%, at $1,946.07, this comes after a 1.67% decline in the previous week as well.

Similarly in line with the gold’s trend, international spot silver closed the week at $23.31, marking a weekly decline of 2.26%.
