Commerce Ministry is considering to develop a transshipment policy: Abdul Razzaq Dawood

July 17, 2020 (MLN): The Ministry of Commerce is considering to develop a transshipment policy.

Taking to his twitter handle on Friday, Advisor to PM for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razzak Dawood stated that a presentation was made by our consultants regarding the potential of transshipment. The policy would be aimed to tap every potential avenue, he said.

In this regard, the proposals are invited from people who are involved in Logistics, and exporters, moreover, ideas on goods being imported into Pakistan for re-export would be discussed.

After due consultation, MOC will move for approval of the transshipment policy, he added.
