Market dropped a total of 497.97 points or a 0.95 percent on first of Ramzan as investor participation was suppressed as it was also a bank holiday.

The net gainers during today’s session were; Rafhan Maize Products Ltd. RMPL +1.14%, Agriauto Industries AGIL+5.00%, Mari Petroleum MARI +1.22%, INIL +4.42% and SRVI +1.11%.

The net decliners during the session were; Nestle Pakistan NESTLE -1.96%, Wyeth Chemicals WYETH -5.00%, Millat Tractors Ltd. MTL -2.76%, Lucky Cement Ltd. LUCK -3.51% and Sanofi Aventis Pakistan Ltd. SAPL -1.54%.

All Share Volume decreased by 228.69 Million to 203.08 Million Shares. Market Cap decreased by Rs.66.73 Billion.

Total companies traded were 375 compared to 401 from the previous session. Of the scrips traded 105 closed up, 258 closed down while 12 remained unchanged.

Total trades decreased by 50,655 to 75,437.
