Barkat Frisian Agro to debut on PSX on March 7

March 06, 2025 (MLN): Barkat Frisian Agro Limited (BFAGRO) will be listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) effective from tomorrow, March 7.

Trading in the company's shares will commence on the main board of PSX, settled on a T+2 basis, with the first settlement date on March 11. The market lot of the company will be 1 share of Rs1/- each.

The shares of the company have already been declared an eligible security by the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC), and all the transactions shall be settled through the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL).

NCCPL has assigned "BFAGRO" to the company as their company code/security symbol, according to a notice issued by PSX.

The opening price of the shares of the company will be Rs18.2 per share, as determined through the book building process.

The share registrar of the company is CDC Share Registrar Services Limited, the notice reads.

The company will be quoted in the "Food & Personal Care Products" sector in the daily quotation of the exchange.

After reviewing the latest financial statements and the nature of the business, the company is deemed Shariah-compliant as per the Shariah screening criteria of the KMI All Share Index.

The company will be included in the PSX-KMI All Share Islamic Index (KMIALLSHR) from the date of its listing.
