Around 70% Hybrid cars imported in country due to increasing popularity

March 12, 2019: Hybrid Vehicles consitute around 70% of the total cars imported in the country due to its increasing popular trend among citizens, as compared to the local manufacture vehicles because of durable and efficient latest features.

President Karachi Car Import Association Sheikh Faisal Pervaiz in his interview with private news channel on Tuesday said that the local manufactures vehicles are more expensive as compared to imported vehicles.

Along with other regions of the world, Pakistan has also welcomed these hybrid cars and these are purchased by Pakistani people at large scale, he added.

He also said that local made vehicles have limited features and less safety measures with costly rates, whereas imported cars comply with international standards and have higher quality and road safety equipment.

Consumer awareness has grown in Pakistan which is why more people prefer using imported vehicles now, he added.
