Al Shaheer implements temporary closes Karachi Plant

January 26, 2024 (MLN): The Board of Directors (BoD) of Al Shaheer Corporation Limited (PSX: ASC) has decided to temporarily close the company's Plant in Karachi for two weeks with effect from today January 26, 2023, the company's filing on PSX showed.

In another development, the BoD has also accepted the resignation of Mr Kamran Ahmed Khalili (Director and the Chief Executive Officer) from the position of CEO effective from April 24, 2024.

The appointment of the new CEO will be announced in due course.

ASC is primarily engaged in trading of different kinds of halal meat including goat, cow, chicken and fish, both for the export market and local sales through a chain of retail stores.
