Agha Steel profits fell by 9% in FY22

September 29, 2022 (MLN): Agha Steel Mills Limited (AGHA) announced results for FY22 wherein the company profits decreased by 9% and stood at Rs1.85 billion, the company’s stock filings on the stock exchange showed.
In the filing, the company profits decline by 9% to Rs1.85bn as compared to Rs2.04bn in the same period last year, translating into earnings per share of Rs3.07 against Rs3.62 in FY21.
AGHA’s topline showed an increase of 29%, to Rs25.65bn against Rs19.86bn in FY21.
The company’s gross profit was up by 22%, to Rs5.49bn against Rs4.50n in FY21.
Profit-before-taxation decreased by 10% to Rs2.29bn compared to Rs2.55bn in the same period last year.
